Hell came knocking at my door today.
Tears have fallen. People have fallen.
Because suffering is common to everyone—like sweat or hunger—remember this on the day it knocks at your door.
When you suffer, keep the dark at your back as you put one foot in front of the other.
Divine strength is flawless. This faith we share was born to shine in the darkest of hours. Even when voices are silenced forever. Even when the tears roll down.
Even then.
That’s my blessing, my little ration of light for you on this night.
Good night, Beloved.

Whatever it is, I wish you the best in facing it. When I was in some of my deepest despair, a friend used the same words….one foot in front of the other. As long as you’re still moving and breathing.
I’m so sorry that you had such a horrible day. Keep whatever light you can get your hands on – my thoughts are with you and hoping tomorrow is a better day
Thank you all for your gracious comments. It means a lot.
I have been keeping you in my prayers, knowing that there are no words. God counts our tears, and keeps each one in His tender care for they are precious to him.
